LARGE STAINLESS STEEL GAZING GLOBES INSTALLED IN SINGAPORE

1.CONCEPT

This stainless steel globes art work is an interactive audio steel globes installation that acts as an audio time capsule capturing sounds of Singapore. With the passage of time, this 5 pcs large stainless steel gazing globes will serve as a remembrance of the rich intangible heritage of our daily lives in Singapore. The installation’s audio recordings feature familiar sounds of everyday people, places and scenes, from the sounds of traffic in suburban heartlands and MRT trains to the daily chatter in wet markets and coffee shops.

2. IMPLEMENTING

This 5pcs large stainless steel gazing globes is made from ∅2.5meter large steel balls. Formed with 2mm thickness durable AISI304 stainless steel. it welded a tube base on the bottom which installed under ground.
